Jaguar SS 3? litre
During the Jaguar Drivers’ Club’s Cheshire Cats’ Trophy Meeting at Oulton Park in April 1987 there was a parade of Jaguar cars round the circuit, and this is one of those taking part. It’s a 1938 SS Jaguar 100, one of 118 cars built from 1938 to 1941 with the 3,485cc straight-6 engine. The earlier version of the car had a 2,663cc engine and 191 examples were built between 1935 and 1939. That car was the first of the SS cars to bear the Jaguar name.

Jaguar SS100 of 1936
I do wish they wouldn’t paint the brake drums silver, matt black would highlight the wire wheels so much better!
