FOR SALE 1937 SS100

This lovely 1937 SS100 2.5 litre is matching numbers and comes with some excellent history. Chassis number 18109, first registered 11th June 1937. Delivered by Attwoods, the SS dealer in Wolverhampton in black with red upholstery (as at present) to John fellows. It was purchased soon after, on the 6th October 1938 to John Montgomery, a Kent hop farmer. He was a rally enthusiast and rallied the car in 1938/39 in Scottish and Welsh Rallies. Montgomery kept the car all his life, initially using it on the roads but by the 60’s just to drive round his hop farm. Eventually it was put away in a barn until after his death and was sold in 1994.
The present owner purchased the car in 1996 and begun the complete restoration, today the car is still in immaculate condition. Still showing only 47733 believed genuine miles. The
car is fitted with a 5-speed gearbox conversion (original box is supplied). You will struggle to find a better SS100.

GUIDE PRICE £400,000
