A recent acquisition to our stocklist, this lovely Suffolk SS100 with an unusual but delightful colour scheme, and also very low mileage.
This vehicle will come fully works prepared and upgraded to our usual High standards.
Registration: Suffolk SS100 Jaguar. Built by Suffolk Sportscars in 2000. Registered as a Jaguar Sports. USA, Canada, Australia and European exportable car.
Registration number TBC.
Engine: Jaguar XK 4.2 litre engine. Fitted with twin 2” SU HS8 carburettors and choke unit. Polished E-type cam covers. Engine fan and electric fan.
Engine re-build spec: 4.2 litre XK engine completely remanufactured by VSE to fast road specification specifically for this car with High Performance cylinder head. Fully balanced internal mass including lightened flywheel. Rebuilt starter, alternator, distributor, and water pump. Full stainless steel 6 branch manifold headers and full twin pipe exhaust system fitted.
Gearbox & Differential: Jaguar Series 3 XJ 5 speed gearbox unit. Salisbury differential. All rebuilt by Jaguar specialists.
Chassis & Bodywork:
MIG welded 150 x 50 x 3mm closed box section.
Lockheed disc brakes.
Adjustable shock absorbers on 6 coil spring suspension.
Rack and pinion steering.
Servo power disc brakes.
Bodywork in GRP and steel. Louvred alloy bonnet. Totally accurate recreation of the 1938 Jaguar SS100. Bodywork resplendent in Old English White
Wheels: 18″ 72 spoke wheels in Gloss black and fitted with Blockley High Performance tyres.
Interior:
Connolly leather in contrasting black and dove grey, with grey Wilton carpets including carpeting to locker.
Moto-Lita steering wheel.
Fittings: Heater, fan, sidescreens, tonneau cover, hoodbag, fitted hood in black mohair. Aeroscreens, windwings. Colour coded chrome buckle seat belts, GB plate, tool kit, jack and copper faced hammer.
Stainless steel type 40 headlamps. Lucas QK596 headlamps can be fitted at extra cost.
Lucas spotlights on front valance.
Mileage: 5000 miles with two owners since new factory build. Condition excellent throughout. Serviced annually and maintained by Suffolk Sportscars. Car has been garaged since new and comes fully serviced, prepared and detailed to our usual high standards.
